Assistant Coaching Coordinator


Behind every great Coaching Coordinator there is an energised Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn to become the Coaching Coordinator overtime and develop your skills.


Like our Coaching Coordinator - Are you nuts about netball, have previously played and/or coached and want to contribute to our community club?

Our Assistant Coaching Coordinator for the club is available commencing over the next couple of months.


We are looking for a volunteer to take on this role to help coordinate a range of club activities that are all in the support of our daughters and sons who want to learn, play and have fun.


The Assistant Coaching Coordinator supports team trials, matching players into teams, supporting the Coaching Coordinator and helping our club coaches throughout the year.


In this role you will support the Coaching Coordinator and a small group of committed coaches and focus on the following:

· Support the team trials to ensure we make the best possible team matches for our players, in Spring in readiness for the following year

· Liaise with parents who might have questions regarding netball

· Help contribute to the development of our coaches through digital learning, clinics and specialist events

· Work with our Registrations team to ensure we can match our players into teams supporting the Coaching Coordinator with decision

· Work closely with the Coaching Coordinator to undertake activities that make sense as we progress through the year


In return for your ‘marvellous’ support we will provide a highly engaged committee to support you, paid coaching time on court, development of your skills and the right tools and connections to make this a memorable experience.

Communications Lead


Do you want to use your voice to help ensure our club stays up-to-date throughout the season and even before, with news, updates and general messages?


Curating content, sharing news, writing comms, working in a small team, managing our socials are the key ingredients to the role.


We are looking for a Comms Lead to help do the following:

· Write our monthly newsletter – short sweet and just what you need to know!

· Curate social media posts and upload to Facebook and Instagram

· Managing our socials Facebook and Instagram

· Liaise with our Website lead to upload any content

· Write media releases for any news or events

· Develop a comms plan for the year and deliver

· Provide updates to the Executive committee as needed, or come and join us


The role works primarily with the President and Website lead and can work at your own pace meeting the milestones and content throughout the year. It is a great role to find your voice and meet other parents who are volunteering to ensure their daughters and sons have a memorable time playing netball!
